SON OF ZEUS

FORGOTTEN

Amongst a life filled with twists of fate, Sarpedon was born a son of Zeus. In his youth, he and his brother Minos battled for the throne of Crete. Though Sarpedon lost, he carved his own legacy as king of Lycia. Yet, his greatest chapter had not yet begun—one that would lead him to the fields of Troy and the heart of war.

Coming  SOON

Years later, as the Trojan War erupted, Sarpedon emerged as one of Troy’s greatest allies. He led his Lycian warriors with fearless resolve, each battle watched by Zeus from Olympus. But even with divine eyes upon him, Sarpedon’s path could not avoid what all mortals face. As the war raged, his valour became legend—but so too did the shadow of fate drawing near.

But even the bravest cannot escape destiny. In the chaos of battle, Sarpedon fell to Patroclus, fulfilling the prophecy. Yet Zeus, though resigned, honoured his son. Sarpedon’s body was carried home to Lycia, ensuring his memory would live beyond that day. In the end, his story reminds us that even those touched by the divine must bow to fate, and yet, honour can outlast death itself.
